Uzhgorod is preparing for the “Uzhgorod Open-2017” (Announcement)

The meeting of the working group in charge of the organization of the traditional international dance sport competition "Uzhgorod Open-2017" chaired by the deputy chairman of the board of the Youth and Sports Department Oleg Murtazin took place in the Regional State Administration.

According to the President of the Transcarpathian regional branch of the Ukrainian Federation of Dance Sport Oleksandra Myshko, the initiator and main organizer of the traditional event, representatives of 18 countries will participate in the competition and judging. And not only from Europe, but also from Asia and Africa.

Of course, such a broad representation at the tournament requires special responsibility of the organizers

Uzhgorod National University will assist in conducting the competition. The Vice Rector Miroslava Lendyel, in particular, noted that many students will be engaged. They will work as volunteers – translators, journalists, etc. – and therefore will receive good professional practice.

This year’s program of the XV international dance sport competition to be held in Uzhgorod sport center "Yunist" on April 22-23, includes: WDSF World Open ST, LA; WDSF Open Youth ST, LA; WDSF Open Senior I ST; classification and open competitions.

The registration for the competition has already started. It will last until April 20.
