Uzhgorod city council plans to spend more than 700 thousand on PR

744 thousand from the city budget is planned to be spent over three years for the maintenance of the local newspaper "Uzhgorod". 

For this money, the authorities will be informing citizens about the activities of the City Council, its executive committee and officers; publishing draft decisions of the City Council, its executive committee; informing the population about the events held by the City Council and its structural units. Also, at the expense of the taxpayers, the newspaper will be informing about the activities of the Mayor and his orders.

This year, according to the draft decision "Program of coverage of Uzhgorod City Council activities, problems of the city life in the newspaper "Uzhgorod" for 2015-2017" developed by the City Council, 466 thousand is to be allocated for the maintenance of the municipal newspaper "Uzhgorod", 244 thousand of which will be used for the salaries for its employees.
