Ukrzaliznytsya VS Transcarpathia. The train from Kyiv to Solotvyno lasted less than a year

A year ago, the Ukrzaliznytsya decided to launch a train from Kyiv to the unique resort of Transcarpathia – Solotvyno, known for its salt lakes.

The train made a stop in Zdolbuniv. Tickets cost 160 to 350 hryvnia.

The site of the "Ukrzaliznytsya" informed: "On May 3, 2017, a new train number 213/214 Kyiv – Solotvyno started running. 459 passengers took the train, its occupancy on the first day was 55%. The management of the Ukrzaliznytsya are convinced that the popularity of the train will grow rapidly."

Apperently, it has not. Because, according to the information desk of the Rivne railway station, the train has been canceled – the radiotrek informed.

Recall that train No. 213/214 Kyiv – Solotvyno for the first time provided direct rail connection between the capital of Ukraine Kyiv and settlements of eastern Transcarpathia.

At the same time, the train from Lviv to Solotvyno has not yet been canceled.
