Ukrainians are advised to check the validity of their passports in order to vote at the election

The passport is the grounds for receiving the ballot paper. In order not to lose the right to vote at the presidential elections in Ukraine, check the validity of your document, Olga Posttak, the Chief Communications Officer of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region advises. Namely, check if you have photo at the age of 25 or 45. You can have a photo pasted within a month from the date of birth. Otherwise, you will have to obtain a new ID-passport. The term for issuance of an electronic document is 20 working days or 7 working days in urgent mode (plus 2-3 working days for delivery).

Important! Owners of ID-cards will not be restricted in the right to vote at the upcoming elections on March 31. Until the passport reform is completed, new ID-cards are used in Ukraine along with the old type of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of a book.
