The first stage of the Ukrainian Rally Open Championship ‘Ukrainian Gates – 2012’ will take place in the Carpathians on May 4-6, 2012, informs Turinform Zakarpattia with the reference to LODTRK.
The review on the first stage conducting of European Rally Cup 2013 will be held on the territory of Lviv and Transcarpathian regions during those days. The ‘Prime Yalta Rally’ (Crimea) and ‘Rally Carpathians’ (Chernivetska and Ivano-Frankivska regions) earned such status so far.
The invitations to participate in the rally are sent to 12 European countries, preliminary applications were dispatched by 70 crews.
- On May 4th – the grand opening and travel along streets of Lviv, with the subsequent participants’ departure to Mykolaiv region, where the race will take place on two specialized sections of the road.
- On May 5th – the competition will be held in Turkivsk and Drohobych districts of Lviv region and in Velykyy Bereznyy and Volovets districts of Transcarpathian region.
- On May 6th – the finish of the rally participants in Mukachevo, Transcarpathian region.
