"Today’s event once again showed that Ukraine has a lot to be proud of. I am very pleased that so many Hungarians came to see Ukrainian films. It is our goal to make Ukraine known not only from the reports of political news about the war, the fight against corruption and so on, but also for its culture, art and achievements of our talented people. Therefore, we will continue to introduce the world to our country through cultural diplomacy" – the founder of the Charity Foundation and the NGO "Initiative for the Future" Igor Yankovsky said.

During the week, Ukrainian producers, who came to Budapest with the support of a patron Igor Yankovsky, will show films created over the last year.

"Ukrainian cinema is booming. Moreover, next year we plan to increase the funding for national cinema, which means that we will have a lot of new inyeresting Ukrainian films", – the head of the State Committee for Cinematography of Ukraine Pylyp Illienko said.

At the reception in honor of Ukrainian cinema, directors and visitors were able to talk informally about the further development of the domestic film industry and the prospects of cooperation of Ukrainian filmmakers and producers with European colleagues.
