Tyachiv State Forestry Enterprise will expand the boundaries of the natural reserve fund

The territory of the Nature Reserve Fund of the State Enterprise "Tyachiv Forestry" is to be expanded. Of course, if the community supports the idea, in the near future the area of ​​the NRF will be increased by 10 hectares. However, the consent of the community and deputies of the Bilovartsi village council is needed for that! Therefore, the State Enterprise "Tyachiv Forestry" appeals to the inhabitants and deputies of the village of Bilovartsi.

 Director of the Tyachiv State Forestry Natalia Katrenyak said:

"In 2017, residents of the village of Bilovartsi repeatedly appealed to Tyachiv State Forestry on the creation of a protected territory on the lands of the Tyachiv State Forestry Enterprise. Taking into account the opinion and cooperation with the public, the foresters, together with the heads of the relevant departments and the leadership of the Transcarpathian Regional Forestry and Hunting Range Administration, came to the conclusion to expand the boundaries of the NRF. It was decided to create a new unit of the nature reserve fund in the forests belonging to Tyachiv state forestry for 2018. After all, expansion of the natural reserve fund territory will significantly improve the conservation of the biological and landscape diversity of the forests in Tyachiv district. And the employees of the state forest protection service are taking measures to preserve valuable natural complexes and objects. Thus, one of the effective methods is to include them in the nature reserve fund", – Natalia Katrenyak said.

At present, the natural reserve fund of national and local significance in the territory of the State Forestry Enterprise occupy a total of ​​almost 18.0 hectares. If the community supports the idea, the area of ​​the NRF will be increased by 10 hectares in the near future.

Taking into account the aforementioned, in order to expand the NRF, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On NRF", the foresters ask representatives of the community and the deputies of the village of Bilovartsi to appeal to the Bilovartsi Village Council with a request to consider at the session the possibility of approval and inclusion of the aforementioned lands to the protected territory and receive the appropriate decision of the village council session.
