Today, at 3:20 pm, on Stantsiyna street, Uzhgorod patrol policemen stopped a car Daewoo Nexia, the driver of which had violated the traffic rules. During the document check, the inspectors noticed the signs of drunkenness.
The patrol policemen, in accordance with the law, asked the driver to undergo the test for the state of narcotic intoxication in a specialized institution. However, the 37-year-old man refused to undergo medical examination in the presence of two witnesses.
A similar incident occurred about 5 o’clock, on Hrushevsky street, patrol policemen stopped a Daewoo Nexia. A 33-year-old citizen behind the wheel also exhibited signs of intoxication. The test in the hospital confirmed the suspicions of the police, the man had been using methamphetamine.
In both cases, the policemen drew up reports for drunk driving and seized the drivers’ licenses.
