On November 15, 2017, the main business forum of Ukraine Level Up Ukraine was held in Kyiv. The head of the Transcarpathian regional branch of the Ukrainian Federation of Sports for Disabled with Lesions of the Musculoskeletal System Oleksandr Lyzanets took an active part in it.
Oleksandr told about the successes and difficulties in establishing a sports and rehabilitation center for people with disabilities and ATO participants in Uzhgorod. As you know, since 2016, the Uzhgorod City Council, together with the Transcarpathian Regional Council and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, have allocated UAH 4.7 million for the construction of the aforementioned center.
Ukrainian and foreign businessmen and top managers got interested in the Transcarpathian project and promised to consider joining the project of establishing a sports and rehabilitation center for people with disabilities and ATO participants in Uzhgorod.
On November 16-17, 2017, the head of the Transcarpathian regional branch of the Ukrainian Federation of Sports for Disabled with Lesions of the Musculoskeletal System Oleksandr Lyzanets also took part in the forum for the organizational development of civil society: "Practices of Freedom". Hundreds of representatives of Ukrainian and foreign NGOs working towards building a civil society in Ukraine gathered there. Oleksandr Lyzanet had many meetings at this forum where he made agreements on a joint search for grants to create a sports and rehabilitation center for the disabled and ATO participants in Uzhgorod.
