In connection with the celebration of Trinity Sunday according the Gregorian calendar, Transcarpathians, regardless of religious affiliation, will have a day off on Monday, May 21.
The relevant order was signed by the head of the RSA Hennadiy Moskal. According to the document, heads of district state administrations, heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations are recommended to move the work day from Monday, May 21, to Saturday, May 26. Trinity Sunday is one of the major Christian holidays. Churches celebrate it on the 50th day after Easter. This year, the celebration of the Orthodox Trinity Sunday will take place on May 27 (with the day off on Monday, May 28), and the Catholic – on May 20.
