Transcarpathians owe over a billion hryvnia for gas – Moskal

 – As of April 4, 2017, debts of residents of Transcarpathia for gas have reached astronomical sum of 1 billion 380 million hryvnia – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal said. – Of that, 612 million hryvnia is debts of the population, and the rest is subsidies, which although accrued have not been paid by the government. This figure shows that neither people nor the state have money. Therefore, the distribution of tariffs for gas and transportation, that will lead to a general rise of sums in bills, will only cause an increase of debts.

The regional state administration insists that the scandalous decision of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities should not only be suspended, but completely abolished and revised.
