"Transcarpathians of the 21st century. Monochrome" is the title of the exhibition of works by the chairman of the Union of Photographic Artists of Transcarpathia, member of the International Federation of Photo Art (FIAP) Volodymyr Nyorba, which on August 15 was solemnly opened in the Transcarpathian Local Lore Museum in Uzhgorod.
This is the fifth personal exhibition of the photographer who comes from Vynogradiv district, but has long been living in Uzhgorod. Mr. Volodymyr has been doing photography since the age of 12 and now his favorite genre is landscape photography. That is why he often takes pictures in the mountains, our villages. He is the winner of various international salons of art photography, as well as a member of the jury.
The current exhibition features black and white photos with faces, emotions of people, everyday life of villagers, as well as some wooden temples and panoramas. The photos were taken not only with digital camera, but also on film.
Immediately after the opening, the exhibition was visited by tourists. The guide would point at picture and tell that this one was taken at more than a thousand meters above sea level and that this one is a valley where they graze sheep, etc…
