Transcarpathians from the front congratulated countrymen and thanked for festive food and warmth of home (PHOTOS)

Soldiers on the front received delicious Easter gifts from Transcarpathian community. Yesterday, the festive shipment that was delivered from Uzhgorod by a truck arrived to soldiers of the 17th battalion based in Dzerzhinsk and serving at checkpoints near Gorlivka, and the 4th battalion of the 128th brigade stationed in Kramatorsk, also in Donetsk region. They thank countrymen for delicious Easter gifts and, in turn, congratulate on the holiday.

Recall: as part of the regional campaign "Easter cake for a soldier", about 15 tons of cargo was sent to the front – primarily it is traditional Transcarpathian Easter attributes: cakes, sausages, ham, eggs, sweets, etc. Overall, tasty gifts were sent to more than ten military units, where Transcarpathians serve.

The aim of the campaign was to bring holiday cheer to all Transcarpathians no matter which unit they are serving in. So greetings from countrymen were sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteer units, the Security Service. military railroad officers, artillerists, etc., as well as those who are currently being treated in hospitals. Much attention is paid to Transcarpathian border guards – on borders near Mariupol and Luhansk.

The organizers of the campaign (and it was organized by Uzhgorod volunteers and regional authorities in cooperation with the Transcarpathian community, with the personal support of the head of the RSA Vasyl Hubal) once again thank to everyone who have participated – baked delicious Easter cakes, smoked ham, bought sausages and other goodies, made sweets, loaded, carried, packed and sent surprises for our defenders… Special thanks to talented kids for holiday gifts and representatives of districts for a prompt and cordial response.

Congratulations!
