Transcarpathians are invited to take a ride in the streetcar, where desires come true

Tomorrow, July 21, at 18.00, Transcarpathian Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater closes its season. At the end of the season, the theater decided to amuse the audience with the premiere – the production of the play "A Streetcar Named Desire" by the famous American playwright Tennessee Williams.

The play was staged by Kyiv director Serhiy Arkhypchyk already well known to Transcarpathian audience for the show "Meine Liebe Vera," the Varosh reported. According to the director, the new show is also about us. Although it was written during the economic crisis in America, it has very much in common with our time. Uzhgorod premier is unique in that it will be the first presentation of the latest translation by an American Ukrainian Bohdan Boychuk, made a few years ago.

Before the premiere, at 17.00, in the office of the Director, the Journalist Club "Teatral" organizes a meeting with the creative team, that worked on "A Streetcar Named Desire", and the director Serhiy Arkhypchuk.
