The annual International Festival "Chopin music in the open air" invites talented children from music schools of Transcarpathian region to participate in the nomination "Children play Chopin."
The nomination was established to encourage children’s piano performances among students of specialized music schools of Ukraine, aesthetic education of young people, and to promote the best examples of world classical music – music by famous Polish composer Frederic Chopin.
On 17-18 of June, 2017, brilliant works of classical music composed by famous composer and pianist Frederic Chopin will be performed by the best Ukrainian and Polish pianists in the open air on the stage that will be set on an island in a landscape park.
Traditionally, the festival takes place in the "Radomysl" Castle Museum.
The organizers of the festival are the Historical and Cultural Complex Radomysl Castle Museum, the Embassy of Poland in Ukraine.
