Transcarpathian sculptor made a sculpture of The Simpsons character in Budapest (PHOTOS)

Mykhailo Kolodko made the charming mini-sculpture for Budapest for a reason, as the first episodes of cartoon series "The Simpsons" were created by a Hungarian animator.

The mini-sculpture of the famous Simpsons cartoon character Lisa Simpson was installed on the power line pole at the tram stop No. 2 "Marie Yasai Square". The author of this masterpiece is Transcarpathian Mykhailo Kolodko.

He chose this character because the first seasons of "The Simpsons" were created by the studio of Hungarian animator, writer, director and music producer – Gabor Csupo, who was born in Budapest in 1952.

Gabor Csupo lived in Hungary until the age of 23, and then emigrated to Sweden. From there he moved to the United States. In the United States, he and his wife started the Klasky Csupo animation studio. He made a lot of cartoons there: Rugrats, All Grown Up!, As Told by Ginger, Rocket Power, Jumanji.
