Today, there was a meeting of representatives of the Public Convention, the Right Sector, "Svoboda" party, "UDAR" party, the organization of Afghan war veterans "Nobody but us," Transcarpathian Automaidan and Uzhgorod self-defense with the heads of regional prosecutor’s office and the heads of the regional offices of the Security Service and Interior Ministry.
They have reached the agreement on stabilization of the situation in the region and ensuring public order. Law enforcement agencies will be performing their duties under close public scrutiny.
They have agreed on tough response to incidents of looting, extortion and threats.
Activists of the Maidan assured police officers that they would not hinder their work providing they would perform their duties decently, in return they received a guarantee of the work of law enforcement agencies on the principle of honesty and transparency.
