Police officers of Transcarpathia will be ensuring increased security during the celebrations of the most important state holiday – the Independence Day of Ukraine, the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Police informs.
The briefing for the first shift, which will be ensuring increased security, was conducted personally by the head of the police in Transcarpathian region Roman Stefanyshyn. The chief of the police told about the requirements to the personnel and emphasized the importance of the tasks. The briefing was also attended by the head of Uzhgorod Police Department Volodymyr Ulynets.
"We are on the eve of the celebrations of the most important holidays for all Ukrainians: the Day of the Flag of Ukraine and the Independence Day. There will be many mass events in the region. People count on us, and we will do our best to meet their expectations", – Roman Stefanyshyn said.
After the briefing, the police officers began to work. Policemen will be working in two shifts during the day, each of which will continue to receive orders at the Main Office. Such patrols and briefings are taking place in all departments and police stations of Transcarpathia.
