On August 7, nine musicians from the Ukrainian Carpathians – Hudaki Village Band – will open the program of the Global Village stage at the Sziget Festival, – the "Varosh" reported. They will be one of the world music artists that will come to the Freedom Island to share the musical heritage of their peoples.
The musical program will start with the Ukrainian band Hudaki Village Band followed by bands from Cyprus, Slovakia, France, Serbia and Italy. You will be able to see artists from South Africa and Asia. The Balkan music will be presented by Poland’s Dikanda, Finland’s Jaakko Laitinen & Väärä Raha, international Branko Galoic & Skakavac Orkestar, France’s Aälma Dili and Hungary’s Besh o droM.
The fifth largest festival in the world Sziget will be held in Budapest on August 7-13.
