Transcarpathian journalists, who plan to work in the ​​ATO area, are invited to a training

On January 27, in the framework of the Presswatcher project, there will be a one-day training for journalists and freelancers who plan to go to the ATO area.

The training will cover the issues of physical safety of journalists in a combat zone, preparation and planning of trips to the ATO area.

Physician coach will tell how to provide first aid using available tools (injuries, wounds, gunshot wounds, fractures, bruises, sprains, bleeding, thermal injuries, burns, frostbite and hypothermia, electrical shock). Participants will learn how to do CPR. They will tell how to make individual first aid kit.

Lawyer of the IMI will tell about a new procedure for accreditation of media professionals in the ​​ATO area.
The IMI project "Presswatcher" www.presswatcher.org aims to help journalists covering events in hot spots and is supported by the "Ukrainian Media Project" (U-Media), implemented by the Internews in Ukraine with support from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

To participate in the one-day training, you must fill a form by 24.01.2015 inclusive.

Seats are limited. Participants from other cities will be reimbursed travel expenses. All participants will be reimbursed expenses for meals.
