Transcarpathian friends of Yatsenyuk may lose their seats

Two fellow party members and personal friends of Arseniy Yatsenyuk – deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Andriy Maslo and Robert Brovdi – may lose their seats on Thursday.

The relevant draft decisions under the same title – "On early termination of powers of the Regional Council deputy" – under personal statements for resignation of parliamentary powers will be considered at the session of the Regional Council, which will take place on May 28.

Both deputies are members of the "People’s Front" party. By 2011, Robert Brovdi was the head of Yatsenyuk’s party "Front of Changes" in Transcarpathia. One could see them in the Council very rarely – no more than once a year. Brovdi lives and works in Kyiv, Maslo – in Lviv.

It is unclear why the deputies decided to resign four months before local elections.
