At the customs post "Zaliznychny", during the customs control of a Czech citizen’s hand luggage, customs officers found drugs that are subject to mandatory declaration and are restricted for trasportation across the customs border of Ukraine.
The foreigner was traveling from the Czech Republic to Ukraine in an international passenger train.
60 pills of "Lexaurin" containing psychotropic substance bromozepam were found in the citizen’s road suitcase with other drugs.
The access to the medicine was not obstructed, the citizen recognized it as her property and said that she was carrying it for her own use.
At the moment of crossing the customs border of Ukraine, the citizen of the Czech Republic had no permits for carring the medicine. Thus, the citizen of the Czech Republic failed to declare accurate information about the items being carried across the customs border of that are subject to mandatory declaration and restriction for trunsportation of the customs border of Ukraine
These actions have signs of violation of customs rules under Article 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. Currently, the report on violation of customs regulations has been drawn up, the drug was confiscated.
