Yesterday, August 9, at the customs post "Zaliznychny," as a result of the analytical and search work, employees of the Transcarpathian customs office prevented the illegal export of approximately 25,000 packs of cigarettes abroad. The tobacco products were found under coal in one of the freight train cars moving from Lviv to Slovakia.
The hidden cigarettes "JIN LING" without the excise stamps were at the bottom of the car in cardboard boxes wrapped in polyethylene. The said goods were found using a gripper, a metal probe and other means of customs control.
At present, customs officers are unloading the car and documenting the offense.
