From 24 to 27 of June, the public organization "Association of Wives and Mothers of the ATO Participants" together with partners is organizing a trip to Uzhgorod (Transcarpathian region) for wives, children and mothers of the ATO participants. The event – the rehabilitation "Train of unity" – is taking place under the permanent program "Weekend Trip".
About 30 children and adults from all over Ukraine will ride in the "Train of unity" for an unforgettable weekend.
They will take tours of Uzhgorod and Nevytsky castles, walks in the city, have picnics, play games, outdoor quests in the company of animators and attend interesting workshops. A visit to the museum of folk architecture is also planned.
"This event is a part of the three-stage rehabilitation for families of soldiers of the ATO. The problem of psychological assistance to the families of the ATO participants exists along with the problem of rehabilitation of the soldiers, but very little attention is paid to it. As a result, more than 20 thousand women and children are left without support, 90% of divorces in families of soldiers who returned have from the ATO zone" – Nataliya Moskovets, the head of the NGO "Association of Wives and Mothers of the ATO Participants" says.
By the way, this is not the first event organized by the Association together with partners. On 13 and 14 of June last year, they organized a trip to Cherkassy, and from 27 to 29 of June – a trip to the city of Zaporizhzhya.
