Transcarpathian broadcasting company has died? What’s next?

In the sad and sincere post on his page in Facebook, the deputy director of the broadcasting company Oleksandr HERESHKO explained what is going on in the studio.

"Some will rejoice. Some will be sad. Today, Transcarpathian regional state broadcasting company legally ceased to exist.
It worked for 21 years since 1995. Before that, since the early 90s, it was Transcarpathian Broadcasting Association of the State Broadcasting Company of Ukraine. And even earlier, when I came here for the first time as a director in 1986, the Transcarpathian Regional Committee for Television and Radio.
Currently, the studio is in an intermediate status of Transcarpathian branch of the National Television Company of Ukraine.
What’s next? Further plans to transform it later this year into a public broadcasting unit with optimization.
Time will tell what Transcarpathia will lose and what will acquire. For now, for the first time in its history, the "main button" for airing of the most powerful local broadcaster has physically moved to Kyiv.
One thing is for sure. We are witnessing the end of an era of Transcarpathia broadcasting."
