Yesterday, during a joint special operation "Frontier-2017", near the Ukrainian-Romanian border, border guards of the department "Dilove" of the Mukachevo Detachment in conjunction with the police found a car "Mitsubishi" packed with tobacco products.
A 50-year-old citizen of Ukraine, the driver of the car said that he had bought 20 boxes of cigarettes for personal use. However, he could not explain where he got so many cigarettes without excise stamps. 10,000 packs of tobacco products, which apparently were going to be smuggled across the state border, were seized. Currently, the investigation is being conducted.
