Transcarpathian border guards found forged letters of authorization for cars “Mazda” and “Audi”

At the checkpoint "Uzhgorod", border guards of the Chop detachment together with customs workers found two cars with forged letters of authorization for operation.

Thus, two our fellow citizens – 22 and 32 years old driving cars "Mazda" and "Audi", respectively – were following simultaneously through the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" to enter Ukraine. However, during the border and customs control, law enforcement officers doubted the legality of the state border crossing by the vehicles.

As a result, the border guards initiated a joint in-depth inspection. During a thorough check, it was revealed that the documents for the cars were forged, and the letters of authorization for operation of the vehicles were not registered in a notary office.

The vehicles "Mazda" and "Audi" were seized according to the law. The value of the cars is over 80,000 UAH. Relevant procedural documents against the violators were drawn up.
