Yesterday, during a joint special operation "Frontier-2017", near the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, border guards of the "Kosyno" department of the Mukachevo detachment prevented an attempt of cigarette smuggling.
Border guards detained two Ukrainians who tried to cross the state border illegally. The men aged 32 and 50 were carrying bags with tobacco products "Marvel".
In order to establish the circumstances of the offense and to draw up administrative procedural documents under Part 2 of Art. 204-1 of the CAO, the detained citizens and the tobacco products were taken to the "Kosyno" border guard detachment.
The bags contained 694 packs of cigarettes, which were handed over to the employees of the SFS.
