Transcarpathian border guards detained Turks with counterfeit documents (PHOTOS)

Three foreigners, who tried to cross the border at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" with forged documents, did not get to Slovakia.

When checking "special" passports of Turkish citizens presented by passengers of a car "Mercedes", border guards doubted their validity. Therefore, the documents were sent for in-depth examination, during which it was found out that they were completely forged. This was evidenced by a number of signs, like the photo application method and the elements that protect passports against forgery. In this way, the foreigners tried to reach the European Union in search of happiness.

Border guards notified Uzhgorod police department about the detection of the offense under Part 4 of Art.358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The border violators were detained for identification and transferred to the detention center of the Chop border guard detachment. Their fate will be decided in court.
