During the first 9 months of the year, Transcarpathian region, due to the measures to save local budgets spending, has managed to save 75.9 million hryvnias.
This represents 1.8% of spending on public sector of the region. By saving energy, 3.1 million hryvnias has been saved, reducing primary expenditures has saved 6.4 million hryvnias. By laying off officials, the budget saved only 200 thousand.
At the same time, Transcarpathian region, during the first nine months, has managed to bring in an additional 41.7 million hryvnias to the budget. Thus, the general fund of local budgets for this period was exceeded at 105.2%
