The Board of the Transcarpathian branch of the PA "Maidan" asked the police to pay attention to the unconstitutional threats to citizens of Ukraine, participants of the Automaidan, and ensure their right to peaceful civil protest.
As referred to in the statement distributed by the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Branch of the Public Association "Maidan", messages with threats, that have appeared in the pro-government online publication, indicate that their authors are not very well acknowledged with the organization of the Maidan. Therefore, law enforcement structures should deal with unconstitutional calls, defending the citizens’ legitimate right to peaceful protests, the statement reads.
Recall, today, January 4, Transcarpathian Maidan and participants of the Autorun want to visit Medvedchuk’s country house in Zhdeniyevo with a peaceful picket. Despite the fact that the owner of the estate, according to accurate information, has already left Transcarpathia.
