Transcarpathia is preparing for recreational season

On Tuesday, May 6, chaired by the First Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Andriy Serbaylo, there was a meeting on organizing and conducting the recreational campaign in 2014. The heads of departments of the regional state administration, regional institutions and organizations participated in it.

Due to the socio-economic situation in Ukraine, this year’s recreational campaign will have a number of features. Thus, Transcarpathians will be resting mainly within the region, an increased number of children from other parts of the country is also expected. This requires increased attention by all regulatory authorities.

In general, according to the available data, during the recreational campaign, they plan to provide recreation for 36,390 children in the region; more than 52 million hryvnias from various funding sources will be spent on it.      

Also, at the meeting they discussed the low level of preparation for the recreational campaign in V.Berezny, Perechyn, Rakhiv, Khust districts and the cities of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod, which either have not defined the targets or planned very low ones.

In addition, following the meeting, they will prepare a draft decree of the head of the RSA, which will include an action plan for organizing and conducting the recreational campaign, the creation of regional and district (city) interagency committees to monitor the activities of rehabilitation and recreation institutions.
