Transcarpathia is asking the government for another 39 million for oxygen for hospitals

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, this was reported by the first deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleh Kotsyuba.

"The leadership of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration appealed to the Ministry of Health and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to allocate an additional UAH 39 million to provide stationary oxygen to all 16 health care facilities in the region that are engaged in the treatment of patients with COVID-19," – Kotsyuba said.

As the Ukrinform reported, in Transcarpathia as of the end of last week, October 9, the bed occupancy of the so-called "covid fund" was 40%.

There are 16 first- and second-wave medical facilities in the region that treat patients with coronavirus.
