Transcarpathia is among the “leaders” on violations of city planning legislation

In 2014, the State Architectural and Building Inspectorate found 8,100 violations of city planning legislation

In 2014, the State Architectural and Building Inspectorate carried out 31,329 scheduled and unscheduled inspections of compliance with regulations of city planning legislation. As a result of the inspections, violations were found at 8,118 sites (26% of the total number).

Mostly, inspections took place under appeals of legal entities and individuals, to check compliance with requirements, to verify the validity of reports on commencement of construction work and declarations of readiness for operation.

Most violations were found in Transcarpathian, Rivne, Zaporizhzhya and Kyiv regions.

As a result of scheduled and unscheduled inspections, violators were fined 137.1 million hryvnia. Last year, the largest fines were levied on violators in Transcarpathian, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Recall that in 2013, the State Architectural and Building Inspectorate carried out 54,1 thousand inspections, 18.7 thousand violations were found, penalties in amount of 336 million hryvnia were imposed.
