Transcarpathia is among the five regions with the lowest salaries

The average salary of a Transcarpathian in June has increased to 2758 UAH, however it still remains one of the lowest in the country. The average salary in Ukraine in the first month of the summer was 3380 UAH. Only residents of Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Ternopil and Kherson regions earn less Transcarpathians. Also, in Transcarpathia they still have not managed to repay wage arrears. As of July 1, it amounts to 8.8 million hryvnias.
