Transcarpathia has realized tourism potential only on 30-35%, and prices are European

This was announced by the head of the European Integration, Tourism and Health Resort Department of the Regional State Administration Alexandr Marchenko at the press conference today, June 11. He said that although tourist Transcarpathia develops rapidly it does not fully use its potential.

The prices in the regional hotel complexes are ranging from 300-400 hryvnia for the ‘standard’ class room to several thousand apartments that are twice more expensive than in the Bulgarian resorts and on the same level with Greek prices. ‘I believe that we the price and quality correlates very well. Price depends on various factors. And every price that is currently in Transcarpathia can be justified’, – said Alexandr Marchenko.
