The new academic year for schoolchildren will begin on September 1. However, training is not planned to be conducted remotely, as during quarantine, the today.ua reported. This was stated by the Acting Minister of Education and Science Lyubomyra Mandziy, thus dispelling the fears of many parents that their children will have to study at home on computers.
"Of course, I want the children to go back to school. But the conditions at schools must be safe. Therefore, we are now preparing for the external testing and admission campaign. Our main task is to protect the health of the educational process participants," – Mandziy said.
The final decision on the beginning of the new academic year will be made by the Cabinet of Ministers closer to September taken into account the epidemiological situation in the country. It is too early to talk about it, but Lyubomyra Mandziy noted that they are not even considering remote training.
