Traffic police urges to take into account the weather conditions when planning the route

Due to continuous snowing, the traffic police of Transcarpathia urges drivers to be extra careful and cautious, to adhere strictly to the Traffic Rules, to take into account the weather and road conditions. When planning long distance routes, if possible, avoid minor roads and choose national roads.

Traffic police is doing everything necessary to avoid traffic restrictions and congestions on the road network in the region. Currently, 65 snow-clearing vehicles are engaged. In Tyachiv, Rakhiv, Irshava and Vynogradiv districts, in the morning, traffic inspectors helped road users to move uphill. Mosty, those were passenger cars with summer tires. Car owners should take it into account and replace car tires with winter ones.
