Traffic police asks Transcarpathians… to show patriotism on the road

Recently in Uzhgorod, the information has been spread in some circles that almost all traffic policemen of the city have gone to the ATO zone and now there is no one in the city to punish violators of traffic rules. Such expectations are completely unfounded!

According to the head of the regional traffic police, police colonel Mykhailo Boychuk, many traffic police officers of the region indeed either are already in the ATO area in eastern Ukraine, or will go there one of these days. And they did it quite willingly.

At the same time, the police has enough resources to keep order on the roads of the region. Traffic police units continue patrolling roads in the region, including those in Uzhgorod, detecting drunk drivers and other violators of traffic rules. There are posts and mobile teams of law enforcement officers at all entries to and exits from the region.

At the same time, the management of the regional traffic police appeals to the road users. It is good, when drivers decorate their cars with state flags, blue and yellow symbols, etc. But patriotism can be manifested in another way – by not breaking the traffic rules. Let us be tolerant and mutually respectful on the road!
