On January 13, the Academic Choir "Cantus" will perform in the ILKO Gallery with the program "Silent Night. Traditions and Modernity".
The Academic Chamber Choir was founded in 1986 in Uzhgorod. Its artistic director and conductor is Emil Sokach.
"Cantus" is a laureate of international competitions and participant of choir festivals in Hungary, Austria, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, Italy, France and other European countries.
The repertoire of the choirs includes Ukrainian folk songs, carols, spiritual music of Ukrainian composers, world classical music from the Renaissance to the present era, spirituals and jazz compositions.
