In the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, there was the opening of an exhibition of the participants of the plein air "Uzhgorod in May" that was recently conducted by the Transcarpathian Regional Organization and Methodical Center of Culture.
Artists from all over the region were painting Uzhgorod in all its forms: from recognizable historical monuments and bustling downtown to obscure cozy streets and picturesque outskirts. The result is probably the most truthful Uzhgorod landscape – with various colors, styles, moods, ancient and modern at the same time.
In total, 27 works from 15 artists, both professional and amateur, are presented.
The exhibition, which will last two weeks, will be interesting not only to tourists but also to residents of Uzhgorod – the organizers persuade and invite.
