The winners of “Silver Easel” were awarded in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

The third Open Student Painting Contest "Silver Easel", which lasted in Uzhgorod from 9 to 14 of October, 2017, has finished.

The solemn ceremony of awarding prize-winners and laureates of the "Silver Easel" Contest took place on October 14, 2017, in the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, – the project’s press center reports.

According to the results of the secret ballot, the winners of the III Open Student Painting Contest "Silver Easel" are: 

In the "Urban landscape" category:

– Bankuti Gergo (Budapest University of Fine Arts);

– Beley Bohdan (Lviv National Academy of Arts);

– Kopansky Yuriy (National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kyiv).

In the "Portrait" category:

– Katolyk Bohdan (Kharkiv State Art College);

– Hodvan Taras (Transcarpathian Academy of Arts, Uzhgorod);

– Bozhko Yevheniya (Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Kyiv). 

In the "Improvisation" category:

– Hodvan Taras (Transcarpathian Academy of Arts, Uzhgorod);

– Orlov Yevhen (National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kyiv);

– Bankuti Gergo (Budapest University of Fine Arts, Kyiv).

Many participants received special prizes from the partners of the contest. 

The main intrigue of the event was the presentation of the Grand Prix. Grants for a trip to one of the cultural and artistic centers of Europe and visits to world-renowned museums and galleries were awarded to the following participants:

– Syrotkina Veronika (National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kyiv) will visit Bilbao (Spain);  

– Nekrakha Igor (Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts) will go to Rome (Italy);

– Shevchuk Zakhar (National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kyiv) will see the museums and galleries of Paris (France).
