As a student, he was publishing a student newspaper. Then, for the first time, he tried to write a novel in duet with a classmate. He also becomes interested in writing screenplays. In 2004, he started working on a civil service, but soon he leaves it, considering it uninteresting and boring. Since then, he has been immersed in creative work. He has been actively engaged in photography and writing screenplays.

In 2011, after a visit to Lychakiv cemetery, he began to write his first novel – "Letters from the after world." In 2014, the novel receives the award at the "Coronation of the Word" and is published.

According to the plot of the novel, Andriy, an archaeology student, during the restoration of an ancient crypt finds a strange cache. It contains a letter of an unknown woman who begs anyone who finds the message to save her daughter. The guy decides to find the woman and gets into the maelstrom of unexpected and dangerous adventures…

"Is the world really two-dimensional, we wonder with the hero, or someone is trying to skillfully confuse all of us. Who is this insidious and crafty evildoer? What is his purpose? Can ordinary letters found in the old necropolis raise Evil, that until now has been dormant, waiting for a triumphant entrance?" – writer Andriy Kokotyukha shares his impressions of the book.
