The event started with a march of all participants on the main street of Khust under the slogan "East and West – united Ukraine", the goloskarpat.info reports.
107 participants from Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Chernivtsi, Sambir, Kherson, Odessa, Zaporizhzhya, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Irshava, guests from Slovakia, Moldova and Belarus came to Khust for the annual International Festival "Valley of Daffodils".
The main organizer of the festival, the chairman of the charity fund "Lyubov" Lyubov Yatsuk says that the festival is held each year to show not the problems, but the achievements of people with disabilities, because they are really special. These people are very creative and can do a lot. Due to the fact that the Day of Disabled People is celebrated in winter when it’s difficult for people, especially wheelchair users, to go out, a few years ago, they decided to launch a festival in the picturesque town of Khust.
Overall, the festival will run until May 31. So, the participants will see a no less intense concert program in the disco bar "Druzhba", and on the third day – various interesting excursions.
