Currently, there are no significant queues and congestion of vehicles at checkpoints. On average, the checkpoints in Transcarpathian region are crossed by over 8,586 passenger cars and 738 trucks per day.
Customs control and clearance is carried out under the current legislation.
The Transcarpathian customs office appeals to citizens and the media asking to not escalate the situation regarding the work of customs checkpoints, as this may cause inconveniences for passenger and freight transport traffic through Transcarpathian stretch of the border, the press service of the SFS in Transcarpathia informed.
