Students of the Tourism Department of Higher Polytechnic School of Jihlava from Vysocina region of the Czech Republic are visiting Transcarpathia. They have already visited the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, where the tourism potential of the region was presented to them.
Members of the delegation were shown the tourist Transcarpathia on slides. The Head of the Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Department Eduard Malyar told about the potential of the balneology tourism development, the development of the project of bus stops for tourists. Also, according to the official, they plan to put tourist information city-boxes and install information and direction signs to show way to the tourist sites of the region.
The participants were invited to attend the XIII International Tourism Fair and Exhibition "Toureurocenter Transcarpathia-2014" to be held this year on September 25-26 in Uzhgorod. The head of the Czech delegation, the head of the Department of Tourism of Jihlava university Ph.D. Eva Yanushkova, for whom this is not the first visit to Transcarpathia, promised to attract partners from Vysocina to this international project.
