The tour of the Transcarpathian Hungarian pop ensemble “Hungarian Melodies” has started

The tour of the Transcarpathian Hungarian pop ensemble "Hungarian Melodies". The director – Kalman Potai. Jazz quintet under the direction of Roman Rak. The program includes Hungarian folk and modern music, Hungarian, Gypsy folk and modern dance, foreign pop songs" – this announcement can be found even in the old newspaper "Pravda Vostoka" (the city of Tashkent) dd. January 25, 1968

 At that time, it was already a collective with 20-year history, one of the oldest in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. The chamber instrumental ensemble "Hungarian Melodies" had a long and fruitful career under the direction of Transcarpathian composer, Honored Artist of Ukraine Istvan Marton. Original works and arrangements of folk melodies by the unsurpassed master still constitute a significant part of the repertoire. Some of them will be featured in the solo program of the artists:

October 28, the chamber instrumental ensemble "Hungarian melodies" ("MAGYAR MELÓDIÁK") invites all music lovers to a concert "In the whirlwind of Chardash." Director – Anton Shtepko.  Soloists – Onika Nagy (soprano), Angelika Gerber (alto), Andriy Svyda (tenor), Diana Havata (cello), dancing couple Andrea and Istvan Balinta. The program consists of Hungarian folk songs and scenes from operettas, instrumental pieces and dances in the rhythm of Chardash. The concert starts at 18.30.
