On May 30, a great festival of football will take place in Uzhgorod, at the stadium "Avangard" – the friendly match between veterans dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the national football team of Ukraine and the first international match of teams of Ukraine and Hungary.
The celebration will begin at 17.00 with the inauguration of a memorial plaque dedicated to this historic event. It will be set at the main entrance of the Uzhgorod stadium "Avangard". Then, artistic groups will entertain the fans.
The match between the teams will begin at 18.00.
The celebrations will be attended by the presidents of the Football Federations of Ukraine Andriy Pavelko and Hungary Sandor Csany.
The celebration will also be attended by officials of the Football Federation of Ukraine, who took part in the organization of the first match of the team in 1992. Those are Volodymyr Muntyan, Volodymyr Troshkin, Serhiy Tatulyan, members of the Organizing Committee Serhiy Ustych, Stepan Haupt, Igor Rusanov and others.
