The preparation for "Uzhgorod palachinta", which we already wrote about, is under way. On his page on Facebook, Oleksandr Bohdanov shares his impressions after tasting of the jams that go best with Transcarpathian pancakes, which took place in Uzhgorod Press Club.
"This afternoon, in a group of food bloggers and journalists, I was invited to Uzhgorod Press Club to taste the Transcarpathian jams and choose the one that goes best for "palachinta" (Transcarpathian pancakes). At the tasting, they presented products of the TM "Karpaty Nasolodzhuysya" with the production facilities in the Perechyn. In total, 6 kinds of jam. Quince, blueberry, apricot, strawberry, melon, cowberry. We had to score each, and in the end to determine the favorite, which, according to the taster, goes best with pancakes. My score and my favorite is in the picture to the post. On a note, all jams are delicious. I am very happy for Transcarpathia. Everybody is sick of "Veres" in supermarkets. I thank the organizers for the invitation."
