The kickboxing championship of Ukraine among young men and juniors took place in the athletic arena of the Kyiv regional high sports school in Brovary. The results of the national competition is 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals won by the athletes of the Khust and Vynogradiv club "Spartak".
This club, where Khust and Vynogradiv athletes train, belongs to the Trannscarpathian kickboxing federation "WAKO"; the coach of "Spartak" is Oleksandr Semych.
Sports matches at the Championship of Ukraine took place on four tatamis and one ring. So it was a high level for the participants, while our children train in a small room of Vynogradiv sports school, a former office of the former cooperative school. But the achievements among 750 participants from 20 regions of Ukraine are significant.
Fedya Cheketa from Vynogradiv is the youngest titled sportsman – he is seven years old, the weight category of 20 kg. He already has a gift from his sports club members – professional gloves.
And, now they have a new training – the kickboxing Cup of Transcarpathia for first the time is planned to be held in Vynogradiv.
